Can you get a home loan with less than 2 years of employment history?

My husband and he has been very unstable up until last year we just want to apply for year his current employer for year we just want to know if this will.

    it will be a problem but your credit rating and taxed income will be more important. Typically, a lender asks how many years is a person in their field. Right now if you are a first time home buyer it is the best time to buy in most of the country. The fact that you have been at the same employer for 3 years will help as well. I think you will be fine and get a good loan as long as your credit is good.
